🚀 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: High Performance, Boost Horsepower: 50-State Legal: Fits 1993-1998 JEEP (Grand Cherokee) 57-1506-2 Review

I got this K&N air intake for my 96ft ZJ about a year and a half ago. Works perfectly. Does the engine make a different noise when accelerating? The sound is almost like that of 4 drums. I saw a 1-2 mpg difference. In terms of performance, it's a bit more responsive. I also have a front grill vent that is open to allow for more airflow. I like that the filter is reusable. Was it worth it? Well it depends if you have other mods. If it wasn't for me I wouldn't have bought it yet.

installed according to instructions. I had to adjust the crankcase exhaust pipe by cutting it shorter. The bracket that holds the intake valve to the valve cover does not fit as shown in the instructions at the end. I had to omit the hex bolt and washer. Also, when trying to mount the air intake to the throttle body with the included hardware, I had to press hard on the air intake to make it flex enough that I heard a slight pop when tightening the nuts. Installed on my Grand Cherokee 93 (v8). I'm pretty good at installing things without a manual, but I had to go back and forth a lot - it was hard to tell what they were trying to do.
