I bought these to replace a same vintage style GE bulb which had burned out in a 4 bulb light after only a few days. I was pleased to find that they were cheaper and better than comparable GE bulbs. The amber glass is a tone darker for a superior amber "glow" and the filament has a more stylish curve. I wish I had thought about that before buying more expensive GE lamps.

I bought "Edison Style" LED bulbs and ended up ordering them without realizing they weren't LED. I suggested what you should never do if you're looking for something else. Instead, other items are displayed. I swore the name said it was an LED but oh well. They are very good - they do exactly what I wanted. Only thing to note is that they get VERY hot so make sure they are in the right spot with ventilation etc. Again, they are NOT LED.

I'm so tired of the bright white LED lighting outside our house. It really distracted from the warm look I was aiming for and then. I found these old fashioned Edison lightbulbs. Although still LED, they look like old incandescent bulbs from a bygone era when the light was amber, warm and pleasing to the eye. I'm so happy with them that I bought another box after this photo. Enjoy classic warm light with modern technology.
