Have been using champagne corks from this brand for many years. This is the best. I bought this as a backup but it will likely stay in its box for a long time.

We bought one of these in California many years ago and the family loves it. We searched locally and couldn't find it. At least you can buy from Revain and get it from Germany. My only issue is that they came in a box and were shipped in an envelope. Traveling from Germany to Utah for a while, and those were gifts. The boxes were a little crumpled making it a 'used' gift but still - those who receive it know how lovely it is! So I give it a straight 10! Keep that champagne fresh and sparkling…

It's been like this for years. Love it, I can tip the bottle over or lay it flat and the cork won't pop out or leak. However, they are chromed. Big mistake. Chromed stainless steel. You should just skip chrome and go for stainless steel as chrome corrodes and rusts horribly. The inside of the handles on the cork end up looking very ugly, like something you don't want to see next to the neck of the bottle you're pouring champagne from. I'll buy another one though and give them another chance…
