Worked great only problem was finding its position but others have it on the side of the black box on the back of the engine.

Not a direct replacement. Wrong plug size. The silicone was also peeled off along with the cable insulation. Imho bad quality.

Replace a defective starter relay/solenoid. Not OEM but works great for about 1/3 the price. (and the local dealer couldn't get a part for about 5x the price or more for weeks). Very happy with it - just hope it lasts (and there's no reason to think it won't).

Removed the original Yamaha starter relay and installed this one instead. When replacing the brown and the black cable were swapped. I don't know if it matters, but I was able to set up the connections as original. The F115 Yamaha four-stroke engine started immediately. Time will tell on durability/reliability.
