Good product but the screws that came with it were over 1/4 inch.

Good product but the screws that came with it were over 1/4 inch too long. An hour of work turned into 5 hours after removing the cover and cutting holes again I put the old cover back on until I get new screws.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Reliability

Perfect fit, no problem.

Installed on 79 T/A, branded 10 screws No complications. Fits perfectly. Available with SAE screws and metric screws. If you mount it on the rear suspension with no load, such as For example, on a hoist, you will need to put some weight on it to make room for the rear stabilizer. Compressed, a few centimeters in between.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not bad

very nicely done on the differential covers

installed on my 04 gmc sierra1500. My case came with metric and SAE clasps. The additional liquid capacity is greater than the advertised written 0.6 liters. This appears to be closer to 0.6 gallons, which is a significant increase of about 50% over the stock diff/axle cover and housing. The installer really needs to improvise a new parking brake cable bracket.

Pros
  • understandable also for the old
Cons
  • Style 90

Buy the best bolts in gearbox and drive train first

Installed on a 2000 S10 ZR2 pickup. A good product. The instructions recommend drilling holes for the case screws prior to installation. I recommend purchasing the correct screws prior to installation. Ten metric M8 1.25 x 30mm hex head screws. The old screws don't fit. I suggest buying 4 liters of fluid as mine gulped down 3 without even pouring out of the fill hole in the case.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Long

The fit was perfect. Very happy

I checked Summit for compatible vehicles for this cover. I ordered it from Revain because it was cheaper and the shipping was faster. I installed it on my 2000 Silverado Z71 with an 8.6 10 bolt rear triangle. I used RTV silicone to seal it. The fit was perfect. Very satisfied. The product looked very good and was finely finished. Looks great on the truck! The only problem was that it came with standard equipment when it should have come with the metric system. But a simple trip to the hardware…

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

It fits great but I had to make a small one.

I used this on 10 studs in the rear of a 1999 Yukon. Two sets of fasteners were installed on the cover - metric and standard. Fits great, but a small change had to be made. The two small metal grommets holding the brake hose and cable could not be fitted as all of the new cover's mounting screws are countersunk hex type fasteners. The tongues were originally held in place by two factory locking screws. I found some small spacers that fit the recessed mounting holes and then attached the brake…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • too blunt
