Terrible reception, waste of money

Based on my experience, this antenna did not improve my reception despite being advertised as powerful. The only positive is that it is compact, but that's not enough to make it worth the purchase. Overall, I was disappointed and would not recommend this product to anyone in need of reliable electronics.

Pros
  • Durable design for long-lasting use.
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Terrible antenna reception

Must be fake. Absolutely zero reception with it. After that I bought an original from Motorola and no problems. Spend the extra money and buy a decent antenna. You get what you pay for.

Cons
  • Hard to tell

High impedance - not good

Both antennas were defective. Checked with an antenna analyzer. High impedance (open) throughout the VHF band, poor SWR at 444MHz. I've bought a similar one from another supplier in the past that performs well. It just wasn't good.

Cons
  • Expensive
