LEDs should last for years, these shouldn't. Crashed after a few months.

As you can see from the picture the quality of these pears leaves a lot to be desired. They look like similar lightbulbs I've installed elsewhere in my home, but they're distinctly different. LED lamps have to work for thousands of hours. Not so much with these. Eight months after installation, two lightbulbs in two different sconces stopped working. One is completely melted in on itself, so obviously there is a problem with heat generation. A few days later the lightbulb in the other wall…

Taller than similar lamps

They give off a nice bright light. I've only had them for a few days so I can't comment on durability. But a word of caution I bought these to replace Bulbrite KX60FR/DC bulbs which are much, much more expensive. The base is identical and fits perfectly. But the lamp is attached to the base with a piece of plastic, making these lamps about 1/4 inch larger than Bulbrites lamps. Very happy with them to replace non dimmable halogen bulbs

I bought them to replace 4 x 50w halogen bulbs that light up the bathroom sink area. As the main light source in the bathroom, they are used often and for a long time, so using 200 watts for them seems ridiculous these days. The color temperature is very similar to that of halogens as can be seen in the first image where the two bulbs on the left are original halogen bulbs and the two on the right are replacement LEDs.
