8MILELAKE Engine Oil Pressure Tester Kit: Diagnostic Test at 500PSI with Case Review

I recommend reading the oddly written instructions that come with it. Says everything about the quality of this product. Most standard automotive engine oil pressures should be in the sub-100psi category, so not only is the largest range of the gauge useless to the average user, but the resolution in the 100psi range is insufficient for an accurate diagnosis.

I specifically ordered this product because it comes with a 10mm x 1.0 thread adapter. With a pressure gauge it was easy to check the oil pressure on my Ducati. Insert the adapter where the oil pressure sensor came out, put the hose fitting into the adapter and start the motorcycle. The large dial is easy to read even for an old man with old eyesight. It cost a lot and it did the job I needed to do.

I finally got around to using this kit and found that NPT elbows and BSPT elbows are the same length and size and are not stamped or otherwise identified are . BSPT and NPT fit but do not seal. You get 50/50 off getting it right and in my case I was rewarded with high pressure gear oil spilling into my exhaust and undercarriage. (ATF burns well). Very disappointed I have to purchase an extra part to ensure I have the correct NPT fitting.

Honda's oil pressure sensor is mounted deep in the control valve assembly, it requires a 20mm socket with only about 1.5" of play across the width. The only 1/8" BSPT mount included in this kit is an angle mount. You can't put her where she belongs. Also, none of the attachments are tagged, I suppose you should just guess which one to use. A good way to damage the oil pressure gauge threads. I also had to pay for return shipping so I basically threw away $7 by ordering this kit.
