Good idea, poor execution

I ordered this as a gift for Christmas so I’m extra disappointed that the lid does not fit nor does it stay on the bowl. I’m not expecting it to be a super tight seal but to at least sit properly on the bowl. it’s a good sized bowl especially for a medium salad to serve.

  • Love the clean modern design. Is nice quality and size for the price. Very pleased with the purchase.
Cons
  • The lid is nice, but the bowl and the utensils are flimsy and cheap. One broke the first week I had it.

IT'S PRETTY BUT WON'T LAST LONG

My initial review was good since this item is great for a few months. The spoon broke quickly, (a week or two) but I liked the set well enough to use another one. I discovered that if salad leftovers were returned to the fridge for a day, the bowl then had to be bleached as it leached the veggie colors into the plastic. Bleach will work but who want to bleach the salad bowl every time. The lid warped after a couple months (Hand washed & dried only) so I purchased some bamboo, food grade…

Flimsy and easily broken

I wanted something to use at home that would make my life easier. This thing is so flimsy, the bowl warps with barely much pressure so I'm concerned with it cracking. The utensils bend too because they are so thin. The wood lid is splintery so I have to be careful while handling it. The spoons don't come out of the lid very easily and break easily as can be seen in the picture (was trying to get the spoon out of the lid, spoon came unstuck and went flying to the floor where one of the tines…

Perfect! We have a salad with dinner almost every night and this is both functional and beautiful. The top flips over to be a cutting board too

Big Salads! on my review.

I needed something large with a lid for making and storing salads and stumbled upon this bowl/server set. I has envisioned this bowl as something to bring to parties and picnics, but have found myself using this bowl at home for salads and the keep leftovers fresh in the fridge. Almost perfect: my feedback

I love this bamboo bowl & spoon set. STYLISH & UNIQUE! Unfortunately when opening from the plastic wrap one of the utensils fell and broke. I'm hoping to be able to get a replacenent.

Much smaller than expected

This is a beautiful salad bowl with great features (the utensils are stored on top of the lid and the lid doubled as a cutting board). However, it is really only big enough for serving 1-2 people. Yet they sell this same size with 4 bowls. I was expecting something that would work for my family of 4 and this is just too tiny.

Dissatisfied best in my review

This was initially a great salad bowl and we enjoyed using it for the the short period of time we had it. Unfortunately, it broke quite easily and did not hold up well with frequent use.

convenient set best in my review

Excellent product but the size was a disappointment. I wish the side was larger than 9.8. I must eat salads frequently and I always prepare a large bowl of it. I love the product!

Huge disappointment

When I went to take the salad out of the fridge, I noticed the top had warped, allowing moisture inside, which then grew mold on the top. I wanted to love this bowl but I will be throwing it away now.

Easily Breaks and Warps

This bowl looks cute, but unfortunately after one wash the bowl was warped not allowing the lid to close. Additionally, the serving utensils easily broke. Disappointed. Not worth the money spent.

Wood warped after 1 use

It is a nice salad bowl & I liked the design but after one use & one wash (by hand, not in dishwasher) the wood has already warped. Cheap product at a not-so-cheap price. I would not recommend this product.

Pretty solid in my review

It’s a pretty good bowl. The lid doesn’t always sit perfectly on it, but it still keeps my salad fresh. The utensils on top make it super easy to serve any time I want. And it looks fancy!

lid cracked after one use

It is perfect size for tossing salad. I wanted a bowl with a lid for that purpose but after one use the lid cracked. We didn't even use it as a chopping board.
