Do not buy this product. It's the locking pins on this rack that don't go into the holes as easily. First, the holes must line up correctly. Not worth buying

Works well. No stabilizer required. Two larger holes need to be drilled for the pins to match, but this was an easy fix if you had a drill and a big enough bit. Traveled 900 miles with three bikes on the rack and had no problems

First of all it was not easy to assemble. We bought it this summer and kept it in the SUV for about a month or two. On our trip last weekend, the motorcycles fell off the freeway because the propellers were loose. We lost two clips, the ends of the trunk and it wrecked our bikes. I do not recommend.

The product made a robust and well-made impression. . . except for one critical omission. The holes did not line up so the security bolts could not be used which should have been checked before the product left the factory. I got the rack back with little trouble, although it significantly delayed my use. So I bought a used shelf.

I bought it once and the parts didn't fit. I got a second one and had trouble assembling it due to the same issue. With a hammer we assemble it, but that means we can never take it apart. I do not recommend. EDIT: The second part is useless. It's dangerous to have in a car when not used with bikes because it's never disassembled.
