Works great, just as good as $30 brand lines! Some surfers might disagree, but for the average beach user, they work great and save money!

I thought it was more of a big wave hooklink but it's actually a medium wave leash. The quality of the leash looks good and it was one of the cheapest leashes I've found.

You know, he thought it was cheap crap. But it's just as good as any commercial leash. He held a 6.10 egg on my leg despite his head being held high blocking the waves. Nice and haven't taken a picture yet

I used this hooklink on 2-3 foot waves for about a month and it worked great until it broke. The odd thing is that it snaps onto a plastic base rather than a metal joint or even the plastic part where the leash connects to the swivel.

While it does the job, it's what you should expect at a lower price point. It gets very tangled and doesn't like coming back straight no matter how many hours you try to fix it. It loosens up from time to time which is an issue as smaller waves are only where I surf (1-6ft). I assume it can handle a larger size but there are many better leash options out there.

This leash has been used less than 12 times and already in the water it deforms, stretches and gets tangled. You get what you pay for. My son was playing on a paddleboard and it got so tangled he had 2 1 feet of play and got tangled around his leg when the waves broke. I thought maybe it was him and I tried it myself. Same. This is a defective dangerous product.

These leashes have a secure, comfortable ankle strap and a multi-layer hook and loop/fabric closure that prevents the loop on the surfboard from cutting into the board when fitted with the correct loop length. The 7mm is durable and looks like it can take a lot of abuse. I had a sizing issue and the seller was responsive and more than happy to work with me. Highly recommended! NOTE: It seems normal for leashes to stretch a bit after use, so consider going up a size while you look forward to it.
