💡 ABI 12V RGB LED Strip Light Inline IR Controller with 24-Key Remote Review

I think this is a scam. It just blinks the LED in the same way. The remote control doesn't do anything. However, the remote control works with other LED strips. So you basically just get a remote control. I removed the cover from the LED driver and found that the IC was not installed on the board. I think they just scam people. Because the price is cheap, many people like me don't return the product even if they find it doesn't work.

Not a bad controller and basically does what it's supposed to do for the price. My only issue was that the various buttons on my cable TV remote triggered functions like volume up and down, turning lights on and off, and the colors on the remote didn't match the colors on my 5050 strip Example would be pressing orange give me lime green. For a few dollars more I got a new remote with a sound sensor that isn't affected by any of my other remotes.

Received this to replace the one my son had. The original flashlights had the same remote control, but there was a box instead of that cord. It worked but got very hot. My son burned his hand. Then, after some inspection, I saw a hole in the cord. At first it didn't exist. It was a burned hole from the heat generated by that cable. DO NOT BUY THIS to replace the cord, make sure it is the exact cord you are replacing or it could burn your house down. We connected it in less than 10 minutes.

This remote control and IR controller do what they are supposed to do. I bought this just for the remote as I assumed that would work too, it didn't. I have bias TV lighting and there are two light strips connected to the same controller, there is only room for one. It worked great for a track I was connected to, everything lit up as it should. I have other LEDs, I will find a use for them. By the way, ten minutes after all this I found the right remote control.

I bought 5 of these units for some LED art projects and they all display wrong colors. The red bar on the remote turns orange at the top and changes to pink with the bottom yellow button. A green button column outputs blue and a blue button column outputs green. All effects on the right side of the remote do not match the button text. It works and was delivered SUPER fast. But the best part is that it's priced right. Many sellers sell them at a ridiculous price when you can only buy a complete kit with LED strips and all. This is great if you have spare LED strips that you want to use to save money instead of buying a whole new set.
