These brackets were perfect for my trailer project. The thickness of the brackets and the quality of the paint/finish were excellent. Worth the money!

These brackets are perfect for my boat trailer. The 2 large screw holes are 5/16, but you can also use a 1/4" screw with washers. The screw holes are spread out far enough not to disturb the light, even if your screws are long.

I used them as flat lamp mounts in a van to illuminate under a hinged tailgate. They did a great job for that. I have seen that they are a bit flimsy for a low clearance trailer. But they work well enough for a quick and easy fix. I am sure I will be buying more for other projects in the future as it would be a waste of time to make them if there is a finished item.
