This sheet broke the first time I put it on. The vinyl was torn at the zipper but I was able to zip up one corner to keep it in place. It works too, but I'm sure the gap is getting bigger and bigger, to the point where it's on the part of the mattress you need to keep dry. I bought two so I use the torn one until it bites the dust and then I use the second one and look for another brand.
