This was just what I needed for my two babies as other mattress pads are not vinyl or plastic and will not withstand a major PeePee crash! They are great for solving small problems and keeping your child's mattress clean for other minor problems. However, if they're going to be potty training all night, you need to know that there is a real plastic barrier between the mattress and your child... That being said, I always put an extra non-plastic/vinyl mattress protector on top. one, then her sheets, and then the rest of her bedding. So absolutely perfect! If they have an accident, I can take off all the bedding. Spray those vinyl records with some cleaner and wipe them down with paper towels, then just toss the sheets in the washing machine... problem solved and your mattress is 100% protected!
