Designed to be installed into cabinets or walls to help increase ventilation. Can also be used in conjunction with a fan system to act as an intake or exhaust vent. Includes optional hardware to secure a 120mm fan onto the grille, and mount it into your cabinet or wall. Features a CNC machined aluminum frame with a brushed black finish; and honeycomb grill insert. Kit includes (4) wood mounting screws, (4) machine mounting screws with nuts, (4) fan mounting screws with nuts, and (1) 120mm spiral fan guard.

Excellent quality including screws for fan and grille and wall/cabinet mount

Reason for purchase: I installed the fan on the other side of the wall and needed it to plug the gaping hole in it bled air. ADVANTAGES: Solid metal of excellent quality. It doesn't bend easily. It also included the usual grille and grille for the fan, as well as all the hardware to mount the fan to that part and mount that part to a wall or cabinet. I chose to use silicone to attach it to the wall instead of screws. Cons: none. This is the same overlay that comes with the fan when you orderโ€ฆ

Saved my cabinet from overheating

Bought a 6" fan and exhaust grill. Great purchase for my 10cc electronics cabinet. massive receiver/amp, DirecTV set top box, BluRay and player. The cabinet was used when closed Door TOO HOT. The BluRay was turned off, it was so hot, and the top of the amp was too hot to touch for more than a few seconds. I grabbed a 6" fan and matching exhaust cap grille to help. Doesn't matter The fan and exhaust panel (actually just a fan grill assembly so they fit snugly) are easy to install using theโ€ฆ

Ideal for concealed installation of cabinet fans!

Bought two of these for car amplifiers. They live under a raised floor where it can get hot quickly. Before I used them to mount two 120mm fans (intake and exhaust), the amps got so hot I couldn't put my hands on them for more than 1 second. After being used with fans, the amps simply heat up even after an hour of playback. I have used them in combination with two Corsair ML120 Pro fans due to their very quiet operation even at full tilt. Wire the pros and cons of both fans together and connect
