The seam ripped after 1 month

Bought these a month ago and they tore at the seam on the back of one shoe. The quality seemed good but I am very disappointed with how they have worn. It's the end of the year and it looks like I have to buy my daughter a pair of shoes! The $20 Carter's we wore for the first half of the year lasted longer than these!

Pros
  • Yummy. My grandson chose them for his wedding. You looked amazing!
Cons
  • These shoes are only available in a children's size 4.5 in the US, which may not be appropriate for children with larger or wider feet.

Good looking shoes at a good price.

These shoes look great and my son who hates everything but tennis shoes or flip flops said they are really comfortable. He hasn't walked long distances in them or worn them for a long time, but I think he probably could. Those are sharp looking shoes.

Pros
  • love it
Cons
  • James and Coxford Academie Gear's boys' loafers are only available in brown, which can limit the ability to combine them with different outfits.

Doesn't stay in my mind

We bought them in May last school year and wore them for 6 weeks. This September the shoes are completely worn out inside and the back seam of the box is torn. Only worn about 8-9 weeks and now they don't wear at all.

Pros
  • Came as expected. Excellent purchase
Cons
  • Lack of Durability: Some customers have reported that the shoe does not hold up well over time, with the outsole detaching from the upper after only a few months of use.

Great shoes at a great price!

We bought these shoes for my son who goes to private school. They were very cheap and fully justified their price. The shoes are really nice and I had no complaints. My son wears them about 7 hours a day and so far so good. I was also very surprised that they offered them in a wide range. My son has very wide feet and we always have trouble finding shoes that aren't too narrow on the sides for him. We also bought him a pair of black Rockports for $100 this school year and he definitely prefers…

good price if you need buck shoes

i have bought this brand before and had no problems. My daughter has to wear this style to school. I liked this brand over the Sperry/Stride Rite shoes because they offer more arch support and cushioning around the ankle. Unfortunately after 2 months the pillow broke and I have to buy a new pair. There is no way to fix this. Update: So this year I bought a different brand of shoes for my kids. They fell apart worse than this one. I think dirty sneakers just don't last. However, it is required…
