Should be able to handle the heat better.

Purchased for 2004 Winnebago W-22 Chassis with 8.1 liter Vortec engine. The product fits perfectly and is a huge improvement over stock. Should be able to handle the heat better.

They fit my 2006 LS2 with plugs - slightly longer than the standard

After finally trying 3 other sets of Accel ceramic connector cables I found that they actually fit my GM LS2 with plugs fit. Ceramic wires for LS2 are a bit short. They're a bit long, but work great. I just wish Accell's engineering department was a little more involved. Revain took great care of me as I had to try on several pairs before I found the right one! They seem like a great product if you can find them in the right length! - about an inch and a half longer than the others.

Poorly crimped.: Cable sets

I installed them on my 8.lL and they fit perfectly. The ceramic cover resists the heat of the exhaust manifold very effectively. Now for the bad. I installed them on a fresh engine. After 3000 miles I pulled all my spark plugs to check for problems (oil contamination, too rich, too hot etc.). When I installed the spark plugs I lubricated them with dielectric grease to keep them from sticking. They slid right off the connectors BUT more than half of them failed when crimped and the contactsโ€ฆ

Poor fit and main wire blown

Used these on my 8.1 liter Workhorse RV with a known spark plug melt problem. Firstly the boots feel too long or the plug is too far in the trunk because it was very difficult to snap them onto the plugs, a real headache. After I put them on everything seemed fine, and then when I made an 1800 mile trip from Washington to Minnesota I noticed that at the end of the trip there just wasn't enough power. I went and pulled some connector wires to make sure they were still connected to the connectors

Pros
  • Spark Plugs and Wires
Cons
  • Expensive

The worst ignition cables - at the highest price!

Bought this kit in May for my 8.1 liter GMC Workhorse V-8 Winnebago RV. Installed in mid-June. I read some negative reviews but bought the set anyway - big mistake. After installing, I drove <100 miles and the Check Engine light came on. Connected OBD meter - misfires. Examined the motor and found that 1 connector wire was completely disconnected from the connector and the inner rubber boot was completely melted. Ceramic boot is ok but melted inside! Reinstall the original wire, ensure allโ€ฆ
