Accordion Party Hats 1 Dz Review

We bought these Alice in Wonderland themed hats for the kids birthday tea party. Children and adults alike had fun wearing them. Good quality hats and bright colors, just like the picture. The hats fit well for adults and they were a bit big but very comfortable for kids. We really liked this product.

Brim of some hats arrived folded/crumpled, disappointing. I use them as decoration so longevity is not a big issue. The cardboard is thin and I can say that the hats don't stand up to a lot of activity. The colors are bright as can be seen in the photos. I have an average adult head size and they don't fit.

Went to an Alice in Wonderland auction and bought them for a whole table full of curmudgeons (including me) who didn't want to dress up. We looked cute! We could give each hat a different shape. They're very cheap so they break easily, but be careful and they'll last the whole party. We only permanently broke one out of 12. Perfect solution for a party!

I think you get what you pay for. They're adorable and fun, but they definitely need to be treated with care. All hats survived the party, the only casualty being an attempt to "lock" the hats back for possible future use. One of them broke because the middle isn't much better than tissue paper. I agree with some of the previous reviews, the fact that the bottom of the brim wasn't colored the color of the hat was odd.

They are definitely stronger than I thought. I may need to add a few straps to make it fit better for a child as they are adult sized although I knew this when I bought them. The colors are vibrant, I received the palette shown in the picture and had no problem opening it. They should be able to handle some really loud kids during the day or some softer kids/adults a few times.

I didn't buy these hats to wear although a couple of party guests tried to put them on their head and they didn't fit very well - so maybe you for want to avoid adult parties where they are intended to be used as hats. They would probably be great for kids heads. I used them as hanging decorations for a Wonderland themed party and they were great for that purpose. We took an invisible wire and hung them on the ceiling. They were a big splash of color.

We had an Alice in Wonderland tea party and presented these hats to the guests. They come completely flat, so we put them under our plates and look like napkins or chargers. Then, when everyone was seated, they were asked to raise their plates and pick up their hats. People were surprised and delighted with the hats!
