The sign is light weight plastic but not fragile. It has pre-drilled holes for screws. I used it in front of my pool gate. Expect this to last 1-2 years. Not high quality but reasonable price.

The quality is good but there are additional markings on the bottom. The main picture is a little deceptive, but still satisfied. It would be better if there was no additional inscription on the shield.

This is plastic. This serves its purpose: keeping out parents who want to invade teens' privacy. As parents, we have screen time apps. Or we should! Hi! This is where it matters. Do you remember what it's like to be a teenager? I wanted privacy all the time. However, if your teen does cut themselves, I suggest more monitoring and therapy, yes.
