🌡️ ACDelco Professional 12TP7E Engine Coolant Thermostat: Reliable Temperature Control for Optimal Engine Performance Review

I bought and installed this thermostat (Chevy K2500 5.7 Vortec) because I knew it would work as intended. I swear by ACDelco parts. I'm not interested in risking cheapness at an auto parts store. A new gasket was not supplied, so be sure to order one!

This was a great replacement part although it came with its own gasket which is not normally a problem but 1) the gasket is not in the picture and 2) Revain recommended it to me. so i bought one. I ended up with the extra padding and that's the only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. It worked great for my 2000 Chevy Blazer LT 4 Door 4WD.

I used this on my 1993 Nissan 240sx. If using this on this car I recommend drilling a hole in the top of the stat before installing. 240sx is very difficult to bleed from the system and drilling a hole will help bleed the air out of the system. I've had temperature issues in this car for a long time. I bled the system for hours every month but never bled all the air. When I took it out again and drilled the hole, the air was out within twenty minutes and it has never overheated since.
