I give 2 stars because it can be.

I am giving 2 stars because it could be my temp sensor but the one I have seems to open at 110 degrees. Never reach operating temperature.

6.2 Engine Status 190 Degrees

If you have a 1980's 6.2g truck diesel engine code C or J and require an OE temperature thermostat (190 degrees) then this is what you need . It fits perfectly into the recess on your crossover body. Get a pad too, it doesn't include one.

The thing is scrap. This is surprising as most AC Delco parts I have ordered from Revain have been reliable. Brand new out of the box, they had a slight defect (kink) on the outside diameter. This resulted in it not fitting properly in the cutout in the crossover, and coolant leaking everywhere. Also with a new seal and the right torque. Also, the main function of opening and closing on temperature doesn't work, which drove me crazy trying to find the source of the problem. Quality control is…
