Perfect for my 1996 C1500

This is a perfect fit for my 1996 C1500. I had to take the high temp sensor and move on to this one. Here's the top: Remove the locking ring. Then move the sensor with some penetrating oil. Leave for a few minutes. Use an air hose and push air into the big hole. Cover the sensor with a cloth to keep it from flying out. Rely on new!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

My 1998 Blazer supercharger finally froze. I've been repairing cars since 1975 and I've learned that new air conditioners are always preferred and this Delco air conditioner is just that. It fits perfectly and works perfectly. Just to note that it has "NO" oil in it. So make sure you fill in the right amount of Pag 150 oil, available from Revain, when servicing.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • No mold required

Brand new compressor delivered with no oil

I was going to install the compressor but I couldn't get the high pressure switch out of the back of the old compressor as it was corroded. "ACDelco 15-50812 A/C Compressor Assembly with High Pressure Shutoff Switch" and paid double Revain's price at the local dealer. Check if you have a switch (my 1997 K3500 has one) and you can do it now. I installed the switch, poured in 2-3 ounces of PAG 150 and turned everything on. Sounds great and runs like a champ!

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Weak kit

Suburban Air Conditioning Compressor

What can I say? It's an air conditioning compressor. He's not handsome, he's not shiny, he's not lascivious. He spins. It compresses R134a. it keeps me cool My OEM who was 17 leaked bed and oil/coolant. This is the exact replacement. Fits perfectly, installs with no issues and managed to hold its fluids. The clutch works with the A/C on and works as expected with no extra noise. Note that this specific model number is for Suburban vehicles with rear air conditioning. There is a difference - be…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I'm mad

As Expected - Works GREAT

Fresh and brand new as expected. The unit comes with 2 small and 2 large flat washers for the suction/pressure connections inside the box - it's not entirely clear from the listing. I pulled the vacuum and charged the systems. ALWAYS replace the orifice tube when the system is open. You can get them here (about $6) or at your local NAPA for about $2.50. If you have dual air options, make sure you get a white case and not a green tube with a case hole.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Modern

Good quality very quiet made in Mexico

I installed this on a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe and it works great. IT'S VERY, VERY, VERY QUIET with no clutch noise in the cab. It has a label indicating that the compressor requires PAG150. Beware of this as there are some newer TSBs for Chevy that use PAG46 which apparently does NOT apply to THAT old OEM supercharger. Also consider (depending on your vehicle and requirements) ordering a new pressure switch which will be located on the back of the compressor as this new compressor will not have…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
