Good Reception - Car Electronics Accessory

Works as good as the original, maybe a little better. When my original antenna broke, I first ordered one of these short antennas. The short antenna looks nice, but those who really enjoy listening to the radio will not like the short antenna, especially if you live in a rural area. I sent a short antenna and got this one. I am very happy with the reception.

Pros
  • Nice Part
Cons
  • Almost OK

I have a 7mm base (apparently) and this is 6mm so it doesn't fit my 04 Yukon XL. No adapters are included, so now I have to try to find something separately, which doesn't seem so easy yet. The seller should update the product information and provide more detailed size information. (not just length).

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Zero

1996 Chevrolet Silverado

I read the reviews and they sounded pretty good. Some reviews said it didn't fit so I didn't want to buy an antenna. I swallowed the bullet and ran. The original antenna was stolen so I couldn't visually compare the two but it looked identical except the bottom part was slightly different. I am happy to report that it arrived two days after I ordered it and fitted perfectly to my 1996 Chevrolet Silverado Club Taxi.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not bad

Original fitting - antennas

I live in an area with poor FM reception. With my new Colorado's 13 inch secondary antenna, only one station could be identified in one scan. With this antenna, my walkie-talkie can detect about a dozen. Installation Note: This antenna mounts to a metric (6mm-1.0) rod. My Colorado appears to have a 1/4"-28 antenna mount. I found the adapter here at Revain, but was also relieved to find that my aftermarket antenna has the same mount.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • So-so

Perfect for my 2004 Chevy Tahoe!

Just wanted to write a quick review to let potential buyers know that this antenna is a perfect replacement for the original device. This is an AC Delco product (whom I always trust) and fits my 2004 Chevy Tahoe perfectly. My old antenna broke at the car wash and I was left with the base that was on the truck. I basically used old pliers to remove the old broken antenna and screwed in the new antenna with the handy plastic wrench that came with the antenna. You simply screw it into place andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Updates

I hear a DJ talking

A few weeks ago a sneaky thief decided that instead of buying his own spare antenna, he would just steal mine while I was having lunch. While I could still use my Griffin iTrip Auto FM Transmitter and iPod Auto Charger (black) to play music, I really missed my radio. see prices. When I did, I found that most of my local parts stores either didn't stock them or were offering them somewhere between $30 and $45. Now that I knew I needed this part, I didn't like those prices. While I didn't haveโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
