Only needs one elbow, works great

As with most of these reviews I only needed a small plastic elbow after breaking mine installing the battery. Ordered this pipe to get an elbow as no one had elbows in stock. The next day I received the crankshaft and installed it. Fits perfectly!

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Doesn't fit all

Only needed a small plastic elbow

Bought because after changing the battery on my 2014 GMC Acadia SLT (which is oddly located behind the passenger seat) I realized I had accidentally broken the small plastic elbow that secures it is to an external vent (probably for battery acid fumes?) Well apparently nobody sells just the knee so I bought the whole thing. Cheaper and faster than GM and it worked.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Not the best

Fixed exhaust smell at bus stop.

Needing an elbow like most, I bought a used car and noticed the smell of exhaust fumes at bus stops and an unpleasant odor. The dealer told me about the car in the winter that there was still water in the battery compartment, which led me to see a hose hanging next to the battery. After some research I looked at what my options were and pulled the angle fitting from the article and installed it. No exhaust smell. guessing the hose at a stop or idling, let it into the cabin and dealer ozone…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Cleanliness
