The ignition controller worked 1 time and the engine would not start again. I installed my old ICU and it started right away. What gives?

Works like a new device. Too bad it wasn't refurbished in Mexico, but it's still MUCH better than the refurbished junk from China sold in local stores. Don't even waste your time looking at this junk.

The product looked good but the ICM was never replaced. The old ICM didn't work so I bought a new one and when I put it on it worked great. It just doesn't seem right that you would spend that much and they wouldn't replace a major part that fails. I'm not happy having to spend another forty-five dollars to get this working properly.

When I first installed the D it worked so I put my old D back and figured I'll wear it until I need a new D but a new ignition control model for the New D stalls when heated. I didn't notice this until I decided to upgrade to the new D before replacing the valve guide seals. The new D died after warming up to normal operating temperature. I changed the ICM from the old D to the new D and it runs, does not go out without spark and runs better since the old D was so rusty. I think there are tests

I bought this unit in October 2018 replacing an old MSD. My mechanic advised me to wait because the power distributor is fine, so I kept it just in case. Fast forward to this week and I am very disappointed in the quality of this product! The securing tabs for the plugs immediately slip off like glue and the ICM looks old and used. They cleaned up the old one from the junkyard a bit, put in a new rotor and cover, a new gasket and some lipstick and found it ok. I received one, the plastic on the right side of the module was melted and chipped off and the connector was dented like it had been dropped. Sent it back for exchange and had the same issues but on the left side of the module. The rotor sits as if glued on. The bottom plate is also bent! Both looked like old modules. They give 1 year guarantee. Too expensive junk…
