GM Genuine Part on Parts

This is a GM Genuine Part. The easiest of the three transmission lines to replace. I used this on my LLY to upgrade to a LBZ/LMM cooler. Less expensive than paying for custom lines and factory fit.

Pros
  • Offers the quality, reliability and durability of GM Genuine Parts
Cons
  • Not the best

Pros
  • Manufactured to GM OE specification to form, form and function
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Transmission Line Pain

. It was a lot of work, it took me 6-7 hours to remove all sorts of stuff. Lots of gossip and foul language. If they ever fail again I will go with the long hydraulic lines from Red Auto Rehab or another brand (Engineered Diesel) that you cut and attach the compression fittings and hydraulic hose to the standard OEM hard lines that come with the truck . . . I wanted to have a supply of truck bones but forgot. 2006 2500HD LBZ Truck with 25,000 miles. One of the lines (under the protection plate)
