We bought this for our 2011 Cadillac Escalade as the wipers failed. I'm glad it came with the whole assembly because it was a lot easier to replace than just the motor. The whole thing took about an hour and this is the first time I've had to replace a wiper motor assembly.

10 minutes and ready. Tip: Buy a grease nipple and tap/die set and set a grease point, you'll never have to replace a piece of it again. You can find detailed instructions on YouTube. Apparently, this engine dies every 2-3 years. almost as stupid as the DRLs in my suburb where you have to detach the bumper to change a lightbulb. grrrr

So far so good. Everything was as advertised. Ordered late on the 21st, turned up on the 23rd, exchanged in the snow on Christmas Eve, just in time to visit family. It took about 45 minutes from start to finish. Fast delivery and genuine Delco AC part at a price that was locally available.

The transmission is ideal for the vehicle. At the time of purchase, I was unaware that the gearbox also comes with the motor. The old engine ran and I thought that was the original problem. I was wrong. The wiper gear froze and the ball bearings stopped working. The engine only discovered it when it was about to install a new one. New gearbox - AAA. Thanks very much!

Wipers are stuck on my 2013 Chevy Suburban. Googling led me to the fact that this is a very common problem on these GMT900 trucks and while I could lubricate the existing anchor it is better to just replace it. For just over $100 it was worth doing it yourself and I love the idea of using genuine Delco parts on a Chevy. It wasn't exactly a 10 minute job, but I put my tools away an hour into the job. It's very easy to swap out and I lubricated all the joints before fitting.

2012 replaces Silverado 3500. Center. We remove the levers of the wipers, 15 mm. Then I removed the washer hose under the driver's fender. You can now insert the cover and wipers between the hood and windshield. Remove the 3.10mm screws, partially remove the device and turn it over. Now you can squeeze the terminal with pliers and remove the connector. Install in reverse order. It took about 20 minutes. Now the wipers work fine, do not brake, do not pull.

It was easy to replace, took a bit of fiddling to get it out of the chute it's in, but in 20 minutes it was easy enough. I will say my original was stuck on all pivot points due to lack of lubrication, when I received this I checked them and they were also lacking lubrication.
