ACDelco D338X Ignition Distributor Cap - Professional (Black) Review

As an automotive expert, I was disappointed with this replacement cap. Based on my observations, it didn't work as well as it should have. The only pro is the brand reputation, which is not enough when you look at the price. The con is that this replacement cap is unreliable and doesn't deliver a consistent performance. Save your money and avoid this product.

cheap junk. The contacts are cheap, I thought they were brass but the contact spring broke in the sealed packaging. Had to use an old spring to get it working. I used to try to be the loyal GM/Delco guy, but I didn't make the quality what it used to be. My last setup with GM parts and I will now only buy these if there is no other option.

The distributor cap "Brush" contact spring was damaged in the unopened package. A damaged contact spring may be difficult to see in the picture. If you are an experienced auto mechanic, you will easily see a damaged contact spring. It's not Revane's fault. This is clearly a manufacturing error.
