The distributor cap "Brush" contact spring was damaged in the unopened package. A damaged contact spring may be difficult to see in the picture. If you are an experienced auto mechanic, you will easily see a damaged contact spring. It's not Revane's fault. This is clearly a manufacturing error. The brush was not good, I had to use a brush from the old distributor cover. I paid a high price for an AC Delco part and did not receive the quality the buyer expected. The quality of AC Delco auto parts is becoming increasingly questionable. The product has a one-year warranty and is of dubious quality. You can shop at Auto-Zone and buy the part for $18.99 plus tax and the part is backed by a lifetime warranty. Auto-Zone product quality is equivalent to undamaged OEM quality.
