OEM is the best item for accessory

worked great. Did the job. It was exactly what I needed. Perfect fit, lots of cables, the kit also has connectors for cables. I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • replacement parts
Cons
  • infinitely sluggish

Socket LS 39: Accessory

Required to replace 2 reverse lamp sockets on a 2004 Buick Regal. They worked great and saved me money as tail light assembly is much more expensive at the dealer and hard to find in a junk center.

Pros
  • Accessory
Cons
  • too blunt

Perfect fit and exact replacement!

I have replaced both reverse light sockets (white LS39) and all 4 brake/tail light sockets (grey LS49). All new sockets fit perfectly and work properly. The cords on all new outlets are actually heavier than the original outlets and car cords.

Pros
  • Lighting and Electrical
Cons
  • Empty

Use them for the backlight in the GMC Envoy.

using these for backup lights on a GMC Envoy that has serious water problems in those backup lights. Space connectors rust from water, so replacing the entire outlet with an old-school one should fix that problem. Of course, the frame is not compatible with factory stems. but by cutting a slightly larger groove I was able to put it in and half tighten it. The security clip is offset so it doesn't snap. but I very much doubt that the socket will come loose as it rotates downwards. But if you'reโ€ฆ
