Cheap fake Chinese crap. Buy only for nostalgia

The old ACE Hard Rubber comb, which was almost indestructible, no longer exists. This is a Chinese fake, undoubtedly produced in quantities of a few hundred for a few kopecks, which bears the name of Ace, but has nothing to do with the quality of the original. They are of such low quality that they probably only carry that name for those who like to remember the high quality of the old product. Shame on you, Goody, for producing such garbage under such an honorable name.

Pros
  • All is well!
Cons
  • Dear

No longer made in the USA :-(

What a disappointment! I've always preferred American made ACE hard rubber combs and almost the only place I could find them was online. Now they're gone forever.Combs, The ones I received were made in China and are made of a brittle plastic that has already started to break in. The teeth also have sharper ends than ACE hard rubber combs to make them easier on the scalp I suppose I gave this 3 stars because they are still a cut above the oversized, overly flexible, unbreakable plastic men's…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Just cheap plastic combs with sharp, unpolished teeth.

Only cheap plastic combs. The teeth are not polished and will be uncomfortably sharp on most people's scalp. When you buy an Ace comb, run it across the thin Emori board a few times to lock the tips to your teeth. Conair combs are an excellent product in this regard. Unfortunately, Ace no longer makes BRAZL-RESISTANT hard rubber combs. The Ace brand is now owned by Goody Products, Inc., which in turn is part of Newell Rubbermaid. Goody makes plastic combs and hairbrushes. Walk into any store…
