Low processor. keyboard problems. Dissatisfied ACER user.

Lightning damage to my Lenovo with the same specs as this computer. I have been happy with ACER in the past and the repair shop that recovers my data recommended ACER. The boot process is noticeably slow and all functions work with a delay compared to Lenovo. McAfee infects every program! chief complaint; The fly-sized saltine cracker keyboard features hotkeys that cannot be disabled or remapped. Press F2 and the computer goes to sleep (great!). Press F3 and the email program, which I don't use

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No instructions

died 6 months after purchase

06/10/21. To update. Acer support sucks. I went to their website and put in my serial number and they said they weren't recognised. Tried a few times. Follow the steps to register your computer and then try activating your warranty. I don't care how good their warranty service is, I'm still frustrated, I guess they bought a cheap hard drive and that's why it failed. I opened up the computer and to be honest I can't even identify the hard drive, so I know a lot has changed over the last fewโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • May damaged

11 days so far, pretty good

Nothing special about this device. just a black plastic case. absolutely no paperwork. I can't find any information about keyboard functions. The keyboard is very sensitive to touch. (angry) Mouse is hardwired. (Garbage can). Bought an aftermarket wireless mouse. Computer, in some cases it's fast, but in other areas I think a bit slower. came with windows 10 pro. ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿฟ I would like to switch to the Linux operating system. two mouths and I'm still deciding if I like it. i will keep it I just hope

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Useless features

Best Value Tower PC

This Acer costs a third less than a comparable Dell or HP tower. It's two-thirds the size of the Dell XPS tower it replaced, so it doesn't take up much space. Setup was easy and quick. I've been using it for 3 weeks now. So far everything has worked smoothly. This was a pleasant surprise compared to my previous experiences with Dell and ASUS towers that had broken audio and USB ports and other issues. Featured!

Pros
  • Quick Replacement
Cons
  • I'll get back to you

Not the advertised computer

It works for me, but hardly ever. I added a GPU with 2GB of memory to relieve it. That helped. Although it would be more useful if I knew that it only has one expansion slot. You need to update this box if you want to do something very graphics intensive. If I had paid more attention when it arrived I would have sent it back.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • I'm worried

Bought to use as a Windows 2019 server in my home office.

The machine is powerful and the included NVME is large enough (512GB) for any OS. I added a 2TB SATA SSD, upgraded the memory to 32GB and booted Server 2019. It now handles multiple Hyper-V VMs including my Active Directory server, DevOps server and Linux server VMs. The machine normally sits idle and never loads. I didn't buy it for gaming, I bought it for real work and it does it without slowing down. I also added a 10Gbps NIC and the system handles 10Gbps with no issues.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Speed
