Reliable OEM replacement

Perfect for my Beta 498RR's IMS tank. No leaks. I like the solid metal construction and the dial is very difficult to turn (at first). Feel strong and need to hold on.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Requires socket

Valve very difficult to turn

This faucet was very difficult for me to turn when I got it and now I can't even turn it without pliers! I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 just because all the other reviews say I have a lemon. I guess I'm just SOL.

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • Transparency

Great upgrade or replacement

Sturdy all-metal construction, direct replacement for my leaky Acerbis plastic faucet. The lever on it is a bit difficult to turn, which is a good thing because it tends to loosen over time, but it's tight and solidly made. Quickly installed, no leaks and relatively cheap. Happy with it so far.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Almost everything is included

Bolt holes line up just right

Fits my 2002 Rm250! The hole in the gas tank for the filter was too small, so I drilled a little and the block fitted snugly. The screw holes also matched. a small piece of hose that serves as a reserve. The valve is for my road bike and I want to use it all the time. I would kick myself if I didn't finish the race because I accidentally set the valve to 'on' instead of 'reserve'.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Expensive

Fits on my KTM 250 EXC!

I ride a 2002 KTM 250 EXC and my original petcock leaked when it was parked. I searched the aftermarket for a direct replacement and this one looked good. I have had good experience with Acerbis products, so I wasn't worried about the quality. It was a straight fit. Keep your original tapping screws though, as the one that came had a smaller thread pitch than the KTM. The dial turned easily and had the right amount of resistance. Like all quality off-road products I get, it has been coated with

Perfect fit for my 1986 Husqvarna WR 400

Used as a replacement for the faucet on my 1986 Husky WR 400. The old one was leaking and it's time to replace it. For 1/3 the price of a similar item on Husquvarna's dedicated websites, I was happy it fitted my bike with no modifications. It also elevates me from basic on/off to standby/on/off. the derailleur itself is smooth and knotty rather than the more polished look of the original), but for a fraction of the price of an "OEM replacement", for a part that is virtually invisible to those…
