🌬️ ACI 174347 Windshield Washer Pump: Efficient Solution for Crystal-Clear Vision Review

Replaced a totally dead pump with a '98 XJ. Perfect fit, even the cable connector fits perfectly, no splicing required. I just unplugged the old connector and plugged in the new one. I never removed the old rubber washer, just pulled out the old pump (with friction) and put the new one in. Uses some silicone grease to aid in seating and sealing.

Installation was easy and fit well. Gave it 3 starts because it seems weak, barely hit windows for the first few weeks but now it doesn't even do that. I've replaced all the hoses and nozzles, I thought something was clogged but that's it Not. If I disconnect the hose at a fitting a foot from the pump, liquid just drips when turned on. upset.

Fits and works well in my 2000 Jeep Cherokee(XJ), no leaks. The only issue I have is that the negative terminal doesn't have heat shrink tubing or rubber wrapping to keep water out. This is easily fixed by applying the heat shrink tubing yourself, but it should be included. Since the instructions don't indicate which terminal is positive and which is negative, I've posted a photo of my old markings, which is which.

I installed this on an '04 Jeep Wrangler with a pump. A few months ago I bought a replacement with a new reservoir from another online store, but after a few months this pump failed.
