I first bought the 2-way version of this speaker. I was very disappointed! So I returned it and only paid $8 for this three-way speaker. WOW the difference between day and night! Trust me, spend 8-10$ more and get it! Sounds fantastic and is still a great price!

My original center speaker for the old Sony system ended up falling too many times (it's not wall mounted but sits on the TV wall mount when the TV is moved, to clean or adjust the cables it falls down.I know my mistake but it broke eventually so I bought this one to replace.They are the same size but I fell down because of the sound isn't that good Depending on what kind of audio the show has, I sometimes have a hard time understanding dialogue.

These are great center speakers! Acoustic Audio Rocks¡! I have Acoustic Audio's BR12 studio monitors for my network with a Sony 590 receiver. These center speakers reproduce movie dialogue and live vocals, great at low volumes. to! I'm a guitarist who has front bands and I know the sounds you need to hear, cymbal splashes, bells, noises etc. And these speakers bring it live like you're in the middle of the line! So these center speakers are very good. The price here is about the type.

The case is very thin plastic, there wasn't a lot of insulation inside which resulted in odd reverberation times at certain frequencies. I opened mine by removing the grille with an awl/pen and removing the 6 Phillips screws. I then covered it with 1/8 inch thick Dynamat glue which seemed to fix the problem. All in all, this is a good value speaker if you're handy and knowledgeable enough to open up the case and add some insulation. If not, choose a more expensive model/brand.

I don't know if I'll be using this for my main home theater setup but I bought this for an additional surround sound system for my bedroom. It's small and comes with a wall mount that allowed me to place it directly under my wall-mounted TV. For the size and price, the sound quality is excellent and perfect for my purposes. Combined with two (also very small) Acoustic Audio AA321B bookshelf speakers for the front and back, we now have 5.1-channel audio in the bedroom too.
