Easy installation and great product

The installation instructions are extremely simple. Good speakers for the money. This is my second purchase of these speakers. They sound great for TV and music around the house.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Best value in-ceiling and in-wall speakers

This is a great deal. Considering how much premium brands cost, they're great. I have premium speakers in another room. There are no complaints about that. Decided to give it a try because of the price. I was not disappointed and would buy them again.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great speaker in the speaker department

I didn't feel like shelling out the money for a pair of indoor grand pianos but my goodness they offer sound quality for the price. Feeding it a quality dual zone receiver and couldn't be happier. Be sure to keep an eye on the bracket screws. They loosen up a bit over time, and tightening them regularly will stop any bass vibration.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons

They're not as good as I was hoping for

These are really good heavy speakers but they lack bass. I don't listen to loud music. So it's not a big deal, but I REALLY wish it had more bass. I can return them and spend a little more for something stronger. I was very excited about that. I'm not entirely dissatisfied, just a little. Apart from the lack of bass, they are quite loud. I hooked them up to a Pyle bluetooth amp so I can stream from my portal and phone.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Don't really like it, it's ok

Great bang for the buck!

Installs similar to the suggestion in the Q&A above the Atmos style listening sofa. They handle music well and Dolby movies are even better. I was planning on covering the speakers with drywall to get a fuller sound, but after sitting in the attic in the heat I really gave up. I have no real regrets as the speakers sound absolutely amazing outside in the attic. Rich and full in the living room. Highly recommended. (Mixed with POLK LSI 5.1 speakers and with Marantz 6012 for reference)

UPDATE: Much better than Micca M-8C and cheaper.

I have both a CSic83 and a Micca M-8C (you can read the same Miccas review). I compared speaker listening side by side and found the following. CSic83 has higher DB. I'm not sure if it's really 95 dB, but it's definitely higher than the Micca M-8c. Overall the CSic83 sounded much better in the mids, bass and treble. For testing I used a Grand Funk Vinyl over a Denon AVR X7200WA. Most notable was the vocals, which were very weak on Miccas and clean on CSic83. Sell Miccas and use CSic83 for my…
