Terrible Performance: Ignition a Letdown

The Acouto Racing Ignition for my scooter fell very short of my expectations .While I had hoped it would improve my scooter's acceleration and overall performance it actually made it worse. On the plus side, it was relatively easy to install. However, the cons heavily outweigh this one pro and I definitely would not recommend this product to anyone looking for an improvement in their automotive performance..

Pros
  • Improves ignition performance for Yamaha scooters during racing
Cons
  • Not compatible with non-Yamaha scooters

Just doesn't work on my Zuma

I installed this CDI box on a 2002 Yamaha Zuma. I know I'm with scooters. Now turn on the keys and the scooter will not start. Turn off the buttons and it will light up. From what I received the connection in the box must have been crossed. So I lost my money on it but on the gamble you are taking buying scooter parts.

Pros
  • Easy install, just plug in
Cons
  • Protection
