Only used twice since I bought it at the end of March. 2 brass screws broke off so I can't attach the camera to the bracket. According to the Hohem website, the product comes with a 3-year warranty. After contacting them, they informed me that the accessory is not covered under warranty. Accesories? Are the 2 brass screws holding the camera in place an accessory? Hoem advised Moe to buy replacement brass screws for $9.99! The adapter costs $14.99. Hohem - where is your support team?

I am very disappointed with this adapter. I was dying to shoot video with my GoPro Hero 8 and Zhiyun Smooth Q2, but the mount that comes with the kit to hold the GoPro in place just does NOT fit the Hero 8. The 8 has almost the same Dimensions like the Her. 7 Black but I'm having no luck with mine. I've seen other people with different adapters mount their Hero 7 Black with no issues and I've seen others need to attach their GoPro to the adapter plate for it to work.

Build quality is good but I suspect it was made specifically for Hohem stabilizers. It doesn't necessarily fit the DJI Mobile or Mobile 2. You see the gimbal at wide angle and the GoPro sticks out, so the adapter can't be fully placed on the mount, making it very heavy on one side. . I think this could still work for me but I need to figure out the counterweight situation. Right now I'm considering getting a stabilizer specifically for GoPro or buying a new GoPro with image stabilization built…

The one I received is made of hard rubber or similar material and weighs 67 grams. If you look closely, the photos show 2 different types of mounts to attach the GoPro to the plate. One is the best type where the screws thread all the way into the molded bracket and the other is the type where the screws go through the thin stamped bracket leaving the threads exposed. This is a well made item. I have a Hero 7 Black and it fits well - no kinks, no crooked screws etc. The material making up the plate itself feels strong and durable. The paint/coating seems to lend itself easily to finger tightening the screws, but there is still black under the rubber coating. There are only two things I don't like about this product.
