I love that this product is organic and at a competitive price. This texture is very fine, almost without sand. My doctor recommends using a tablespoon in a glass of water with magnesium powder at night for heavy metal detoxification. I'll check back in a few months and let you know how it went.

This was my second attempt to get a product from this company. The first never showed up after waiting about a week. So I took a chance and it showed up. The product is used for detoxification. I have used activated charcoal for this before and it has helped. Just the way you want it: made from coconut shells and steam activated.

This product contains black iron oxide to make it blacker. I've used this to make black bath bombs which are fine in the usual scenario. They don't use black oxide pigment because it forms sulfur when mixed with citric acid. Needless to say I wasted a lot of ingredients which would be safe if it was truly 100% organic charcoal.
