I installed this light in a closet in our van. I installed it indoors over the door and then found that the motion sensor didn't detect motion where I placed it. I needed another magnetic strip to find on the ceiling to trigger the sensor as soon as I open the door and reach for something. I contacted the company and they responded within hours and sent me a new magnetic strip. GREAT customer service! The product is fantastic for my purpose too!

Took too long to figure out this stupid light without instructions. A simple set of recommendations would have been a 5 star rating. A simple box says a lot that is neither necessary nor useful. Yes as you can see in all the other reviews on here this item is amazing period! For some reason I was half expecting some sort of disappointment when I first got this, I don't know... but it works really great, sticks easily and perfectly to the surface with 3M, turns on when you need it, has three brightness modes and is bright enough for my needs in maximum mode.
