FIRE HAZARD! DO NOT BUY!

I rarely leave reviews, but I always post these. We installed this product in LESS than 24 hours and not only did these converters burn out the new bulb, they started SMOKING! I'm so thankful I got home to catch it before anything permanent happens, but this product is a fire waiting to happen! DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! FIRE HAZARD!

Works as intended. Standard bulbs fit into candelabra sockets.

They were great for converting the candelabra bulbs in my ceiling fans to regular sized bulbs. I have used LED bulbs and my rooms are much brighter. The sockets "push out" the bulb so that the bulbs are not completely covered by the lampshades. If you have a ceiling fan with bulbs pointing upwards, you should check the gap between the top of the bulb and the fan blades to ensure there is enough clearance.

may not have enough thread

The thread on the candelabra end of the adapter lacks a full thread compared to a standard candelabra bulb. This caused an issue when installing it on one of my 12 devices. I had to grind down some of the plastic on the lamp sockets to allow the adapter to fit and make electrical contact. It worked without any change on all other outlets I had it installed on. I use it with 30w CFLs / 10w LEDs with no problem. Design wise, I wouldn't fit anything like a 100w incandescent bulb into this adapter,
