I'm not a Chinese barker - this thing WORKS

I suspect there are always hundreds of 5 star reviews with broken English here on Revain. I took a chance and it paid off - I'm typing this right now on my Surface Book 2, which had a faulty standard charger. I highly recommend this charger. The 15V 102W version corresponds to the description. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE IT BECAUSE THE OLD SURFACE BOOK HAS A 12V CHARGER! While it's not that important that it works properly, the charger fits and the finish is almost identical to the original and very…

Worth the price and great product for Microsoft Surfacebook 2

My cat nibbled on my original chargers and I was very disappointed and wanted to buy the exact same one. So I checked the microsoft store and they are selling it for double the price and paid shipping and it will take ages so I decided to buy it for half price, free and fast shipping and I can barely tell the difference between this one and recognize the original charger. . It charges my laptop, looks and works just like the original charger and is a little lighter. Would recommend to anyone…

Works great!

Update: Well after 5 months this charger stopped working. Not sure what happened. The light is on but there is no charge. I plugged in my friend's Surface Pro charger and it started charging with no issues. I don't really feel like buying a charger every five months. I will look for another charger. Works just like the Microsoft charger. Well that's probably better since my Microsoft charger gave up the ghost less than a year after receiving it. lol Looks like the original. Feels like the…

Partly working, FIX: read more.

UPDATE: USB connection not perfect. The correct orientation of the connector is the opposite of what it looks like. (The center plate is slightly offset and resists insertion more than you might expect.) After I flipped the connector and kept wiggling it, it worked fine. ------- I bought it a few months ago. It's larger than the other models but appears to be 102W rather than 44W. It seems to charge my devices, but. I just noticed that the USB port isn't working. Something is preventing me from

Good backup for my Surface Book Charger.

I received this charger as a backup for my Surface Book. It works as expected. Supplied in a small unlabeled box. It comes with a protective film on the top and bottom of the charging box. The cable connected to the wall and the charging box is interchangeable with the original. Just like Microsoft, there is an extra USB port on the charger. Also, like Microsoft, the part that connects to the Surface Book/Pro has an indicator at the end that lights up when charging. I deducted a star because…

Terrible; broke and I have a fourth in 9 months

I usually buy non-OEM adapters but this thing is terrible. When I received it, it was a virtual copy of the original Microsoft OEM adapter, right down to the feel of the cables. Unless you screen printed them they are identical side by side and I was very happy for the first month or so. Then he died, so I asked for a replacement. Two months later it broke down so they sent another one. A few months later this one went down and I'm in fourth place now and this one died last week. 9 months, 4…

5-star quality at a 3-star price

I purchased a refurbished Surface Book Performance Base that came (unknowingly to me) with a replacement OEM charger for the original Surface Book, which didn't require nearly the same performance. I realized something was wrong when my computer decided to stop reading my PSU when the GPU was taxed. To solve this problem, I bought a suitable charger for it. Two problems: it was rare and cost $100. There were cheaper third-party adapters, but they typically had 1-3 star ratings warning that the…

Never again! fits computers and accessories

Having used two of these chargers I have to say I am very disappointed with the durability of the devices. The charging block on the first device overheated and stopped working, which is normal after continuous use over time, but I only had 13 days with the device. Hoping this was an isolated case, I asked my assistant to order the same machine again, which in hindsight was a terrible decision. On the second, the cable began fraying early at the connection point and eventually began charging…

Better than standard charger!

This charger doesn't just look like the charger that came with the Surface Book 2 (and any other device that uses the Surface Connector). The reason it's better is because it's 102W, 15V, 6.33A. The standard charger is much more limited in comparison at 42W 12A (I forgot A). I've attached a picture showing that this charger also has a USB port for charging another device. I've also included a picture of it next to the standard charger so you can see it larger. It doesn't feel heavier, but a…
