My laptop, L655 is very old and the battery is dead so I rely on the AC adapter and it died on me too but I can't get another laptop yet so this one looked great Value for money and bought. It fits perfectly and works great! The cable is slightly smaller than the one that came with the laptop, but that's not a problem.
