But it works. for computers and accessories

So I bought this with the intention of connecting a new Blu-ray player (link below) to my old InFocus X1 projector. While the adapter works with a Roku flash drive and projector, it doesn't work with a Blu-Ray player (I've also tried a newer projector). I'd just go with a stick, but I'd love to use my surround sound system in some way (any pointers would be great!). So yes, it works fine on some devices.

Saved my projector!

After six years of use, the HDMI ports on my incredible $1,300+ Optoma HD 3D DLP projector stopped working last year and I thought I was done with it. Allows you to add a flash drive to an old VGA projector

I have a good but old projector with only VGA inputs. It supports 1080p so all I had to do was get a digital signal with it without having to plug in my laptop and key in every show I wanted to watch. So I take this adapter. I connect a 4K Revain Firestick to this device, connect the other end to the project and voila! I'm back in business. Works flawlessly. Once great for televisions with VGA and without HDMI.

I bought this to use a Roku device with a small TV that doesn't have an HDMI port. This works very well. However, part of the screen is not visible even if I adjust the image size. But this is really a small disadvantage compared to all other features of the device in solving my problem. I am very comfortable.
