I bought this charger because my pen broke. It worked great for almost a year and then I tried it in Europe. (Hint: don't do this!) It was starting to smoke, so I took it off. When I returned to the States, he again refused to charge my computer. So I ordered another one. And now my computer is loading! 5 stars for working with my laptop and not as high a price as an official reseller!

Worked great for a few months, but then the connection broke and now it only charges in certain positions and stops charging at the slightest push. This is exactly the same problem I had with my old laptop charger which is why I bought it in the first place! I do not recommend!

I bought this new PSU charger to replace my original one. After 4 years, my original AC adapter charger for my laptop would sometimes fail to charge and get very hot on AC power, especially when gaming. With the new adapter, I immediately noticed that the housing is larger and lighter than my old adapter, only got slightly warmer when playing online games and of course there were no interruptions in charging.

If you are looking for a replacement Lenovo y50-70 charger, I would recommend this product. It's a lot cheaper than buying the original, works just as well and doesn't get too hot. They return the product with a one year warranty and I wish I had a replacement like this one I bought before because it didn't even last long and was twice the price. I easily pocket it for hours of gaming and then easily take it to class in my backpack.

The connector that comes with the laptop seems to be of cheap quality as it lasted me just over two months. I ended up taking my laptop to a repair shop to have it diagnosed and they found that it was in fact a new charging cable that I had just bought. I ended up having her order me a new one for $60 plus her $55 diagnostic fee.
