BUYER BEWARE. After the funding period has expired, work is not possible!

Worked for half a month. The return period expired on August 15, 2019. I wasn't aware that this item only had a 30 day return window but since it still worked I didn't complain. Today, August 21, 2019, I am returning home from work to use the device on my laptop. It doesn't work anymore! My laptop doesn't recognize it and won't extend the screen to an external monitor anymore. I used HDMI, USB-C and USB 3.0 of this dongle at the same time. It does not work anymore. I'm checking the Revain page…

My USB-C port is broken

I may have gotten a lemon, but the dongle was always a little buggy when connected to an HDMI cable. It worked fine initially - pass-through charging, HDMI worked when actually plugged in and I figured it was just Windows or the port that was the problem. However, in the end, my real USB-C port just stopped working. Nothing else could be connected or recognized and the adapter didn't work on my other USB-C port. I ended up having to turn on the laptop to fix the port. Can I blame that adapter…

First - read the product! This is just the entrance! Second, the USB connector ensures that the VGA output only works on the back left or front right port on a 2019 MacBook Pro :) Edit: - I've had it for about 5 days now.
