Disintegrated in less than a year!

Installation seemed easy enough that we covered all the sharp edges of the RV around steps and corners with pipe insulation, just in case. Our RV is outside but the weather is not extreme (Northern California). We installed the cover in May 2019; We reviewed the campervan today (March 2020) after being in storage for months and having the front of the lid ripped off completely! The buckle straps have snapped and the entire front just falls apart. Save money and buy something else! I just hope…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • No Instructions

Terrible purchase. We bought this suitcase a size larger for a new motorhome that we bought in January. Of course, like all motorhomes, ours also had problems and we had to go to the dealer for six months for repairs. We bought the cover when we got the camper because we wanted it finished (and had no idea it wouldn't be operational until June). Needless to say, when we finally got the van back and opened the box with our new cover, it wasn't even close to size. And we've increased the size so…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Useless features

Do the prep work and you'll be happy

This blanket survived Chicago's first winter well. We've had at least 25 inches of snow total this year plus dozens of very windy days. I don't have a single tear on the cover, I put it on in November and took it off at the end of April. The key to success is preparation. You can't just put that blanket on and walk away. I used pool noodles on EVERY spikey spot, I probably overdid it, but the pendant looked amazing when I removed the lid. I estimate it will last 3-4 years, but I'm happy to buy…

Pros
  • Easy to use

9.5 months later. Cracks and holes everywhere

At first we thought this product was going to be impressive. Went on very easily, the straps are strong and durable. We love having access to our zip door so we can still get in and out if we need to get in the camper to get something. I would rate this 5 stars. However, I am writing this review 9.5 months after we first purchased and applied this coating. Since then we've taken it off and put it back on twice with no problem. We inspect each area for sharp points/corners and pad accordingly to

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Ripped out of the box

After weeks of searching for a campervan cover, this cover seemed to fit my needs, at least I thought so. My box arrived looking like it had been previously opened. I should have looked at the entire sidewalk back then, but it was 31 feet long and it was snowing outside that day. I drove to our RV's storage area and started spreading the lid out on the floor and immediately noticed a 10-12 inch tear in the front lid. Actually I wouldn't call it a tear as it looked like it had been cut open…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Do not buy this product if you plan to store your trailer outdoors! After 1 winter of use and soft, the entire upper was in holes and offered no protection from water. We bought this cover in June 2016 but the winter was so mild that we decided not to cover the trailer as we used it that winter. We ended up covering the trailer for 6 months last winter and when we took the cover off a few days ago the top was destroyed. a month ago (2 weeks actually) and all he could do for me was give me a 50%

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
