Cats don't like it at all

I have FOUR cats and they don't like this food. They don't touch it and yell for other food. Cats of different ages, with different personalities and food preferences. If the four cats in my house hate it then there is something wrong with this food. Unfortunately, I give ferrals $60 fodder. Hopefully they eat it, otherwise I'll have to throw it away.

The cat didn't like the food

This time I fed my cat who is not very picky about food. I change her food regularly with no problem but from the moment I tried to feed her she showed no interest. She nibbled on it for the first 3 days, but by day 4 she stopped eating completely and I was forced to buy completely different food. I will be donating my almost full bag to the local animal shelter and hope they have some cats. who might like this food.

My cat refused to eat it but she is a picky eater

My bad review does not reflect the quality of the product; It has good ingredients, it appears to be a nutritious cat food. Smells ok (for cat food), hasn't expired (bought September 2017, best before date October 2018). The problem is that my cat didn't want to eat it at all. I started mixing it with the previous feed and didn't notice it for the first few days; but she refuses to eat it. We've tried other grain free kibble before and it's not the same. Unfortunately, it didn't work for us…

High quality cat food - highly recommend

High quality cat food. My cats love the taste of venison, but they love the taste of smoked salmon even more. At the moment I mix them up so both get eaten otherwise the venison will sit there when the salmon is available. cats! Since my cats switched to this brand of food, the litter box is used less and has almost no smell. Their fur is thicker, softer and they all (I have three cats that eat this food) look healthier. Makes you think about what's in other brands' products. I highly recommend

Good overall, best in food category

My cats really liked the first pack of venison flavor and I noticed that their fur was silky. Also, it seems to digest more efficiently than other products I've tried with them and doesn't upset my younger cat's more sensitive stomach. I would give it five stars but both cats refuse to eat pack 2; A cat will literally eat anything, so I tend to think that food is the problem. Until I know otherwise, I can only assume that there might be a quality control/consistency issue. This has never…

My 3 cats went crazy for food from the first bite!

I bought venison, salmon and duck at the same time, gave each of my three cats a certain amount of each flavor and watched them gobble it all up. Everyone agreed that the best was salmon (the first taste to disappear from every cat dish), then there was duck, and then venison. I usually get a lot of objections when they give me a new food and I have to resort to all sorts of tricks to get them to accept the new food. Not this time! I studied the ingredients and noticed that after the first few…

Chicken Fat: NOT ALLERGY SAFE!

After having to take my cat to the ER last weekend for vomiting, weight loss and grooming, I realized the only change during that time was to change her diet to accommodate this. Check the ingredients again to make sure this product contains chicken fat. I have a very allergic kitten so was very disappointed to see this in the new protein food. I could have sworn there was no chicken in this product when I first looked a few months ago. Maybe they changed the formula? It's a shame, because I…

My cats try to open the package

I have a cat who is allergic to poultry and lamb and another cat who is allergic to seafood and fish. Although I couldn't get them to eat canned venison, they love this product. They eat canned food at least twice a day and get handfuls of it twice a day. They keep trying to get into the bag. My cat who is allergic to seafood and fish has had a bladder problem and I've finally gotten over it so I don't want to give her too much kibble but she loves it. Another cat has IBD from a food allergy…

Good quality food but not suitable for my allergic cat

Another revised review of this food. I still have concerns about the chicken fat in this meal. My local vets are constantly learning about food allergies. Chicken fat is said to be suitable for cats with allergies if it is hydrolyzed chicken fat. This food is not called hydrolyzed. While this appears to be quality food I will not be ordering for this particular animal. Hydrolysis breaks down proteins so finely that the body doesn't recognize them as chicken. Apparently they do this with the…
