Most of the LED strips that we have taped to walls will peel off over time. I started using them every 3-4 feet and have no more problems.

This was a great product for what you pay for. I wouldn't trust liability. I went to the store and bought some screws and screwed them into the wall. By the way, they only give you 20 screws, but 100 clips. This math doesn't really add up. In any case, they hold up well as long as you screw them in.

Like the idea of the product but doesn't stay sticky long outdoors. Prepared, cleaned and drilled the ones I could. I wish they put the same number of screws in the package or else my strip will sag off the composite rail if I don't fasten it. Update: The glue sticks to the railing, not the clips. They loosen the glue.

These little dowels work great on wood and smooth surfaces with either the screws provided or the adhesive strips on the back. Simply attach the mount to the surface, then snap the light strip into place. This is an easy way to attach the light strips to a solid surface if the glue on the back of the light strips doesn't work.

The first piece of advice from buyers and sellers is that glue is useless. Almost doesn't stick. I took them off as soon as I received them. This is fine though as I've seen they come with screws and have a screw hole. So if you're buying these thinking you're just going to use glue, this isn't for you son. However when screwed to my Ikea meat table they work great. Some clasps don't always work and I had to throw away about 3 of them because the clasp or plastic hinge broke. Little problem…
